Why Your Biggest Pain Is Also The Source Of Your Biggest Strength
It’s easy to fall into the trap of resenting the growth lessons, the hard times, and the struggles you’ve been through.
It’s easy to want to give up, to stew in your pain, and remain stuck there forever.
Humans have to go through A LOT in our short times here on earth.
Crushing blows, heartbreak, loss, health issues, disappointments, set backs, and trajectory changes – just to name a few.
Never underestimate how strong you really are, and the beautiful places these hardships are all taking you.
Your soul has been through a lot and will continue to go through a lot on the path of its evolution. This is the natural cycle of life and its evolution.
Know that the things you’ve overcome, the hardships you’ve endured, the adversities you’ve faced, your resilience, and your ability to get back up time and time again is what makes you pretty damn amazing.
To open your heart to love even though it’s been broken into a million pieces before
To try again after failing at something you wanted to achieve
To still chase after your desires even when you’ve been blocked
To keep on living after a crushing loss
Can you see what I see?
Can you see how beautiful it is that you continue to love, you continue to get back up, brush yourself off and keep keepin’ on?
Can you see how much stronger it is all making you in the process?
Full disclosure, I have faced a lot of hardship and struggle on my path.
I’ve had to overcome crippling depression, childhood trauma, chronic health issues, heartbreak, self-esteem issues, addictions, dark night of the soul, other people’s opinions, kundalini awakening, setback after setback, hitting rockbottom multiple times (not to even mention all of the past life clearing on top of these).
But do I resent any of these things? No (although I did while I was in the thick of the experiences).
Why? Because I know that these dark places shaped me into who I am today and have enabled me to show up powerfully in my light and in my strength for others.
The bottom line?
Your pain is turning you into the person you are here to become.
You agreed to this.
In fact, WE agreed to this when each of us agreed to reincarnate here and do the ‘human’ thing for a while.
Our souls agreed to go through all of these things. To experience all of the contrast to help us recognise that we are powerful and in complete control of creating our destiny. Also so that we can evolve and free ourselves from the matrix and the illusion.
This is not to negate the pain or the suffering you’re going through, but instead shine the light on the darkness so you see it for what it is – a breeding ground for resilience, strength and ultimately spiritual growth. It’s all serving a purpose.
And know that if you’re going through a difficult time, facing upheaval, or suffering pain, loss, heartbreak or disappointment – you are strong AF.
You’ve got this.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel, I promise you that.
I love you.
